Family Dinners

By January 17, 2023Church News

Our whole church will come together for four strategic meetings over the next few months to take up the question, “How are we now called to bring the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world?” Out of these meetings, we are asking God for a renewed focus on reaching the lost, a new church covenant that more clearly expresses our commitment to one another, and an overhauled church constitution that more thoroughly aligns us with biblical instruction and the Great Commission.

These meetings are called Family Dinners because the vision for them is a picture of an extended family sitting down to celebrate the love they have for one another and talk about the things most important to them. To that end, we are asking everyone who calls Our Saviour their church home to participate. Family Dinners will be held on the first Sunday of February-May from 4:30-6:00pm in our fellowship hall. We will share a meal together, our elders will present a short teaching about an aspect of biblical church life, and those seated together will discuss and respond to what they have just heard. Please make it a high priority to be a part of the first Family Dinner on February 5.
