Mid-June Breakdown

By June 14, 2022November 22nd, 2022Church News

Current Sermon Series: Proverbs

This summer our church family is studying the book of Proverbs together. Many people know this is a book about wisdom. What some do not realize is just how high the stakes of this call to wisdom are. Proverbs wasn’t written to help us have slightly better lives, it is a gift from God that prepares us for the real world and invites us into the abundant life possible only through Jesus Christ.

We Wrapped On:

Our ministries experienced a very successful 2021/2022 run, and most are currently on a summer hiatus. Here’s how it breaks down in 2021/2022:

  • 38 Awana registrations
  • 4 bi-weekly women’s groups in Elijah and Hebrews
  • 12 participants in a bi-weekly theology course
  • 3 graduating seniors

Coming Up:

But with endings, there’s always new beginnings! And as our ministries leaders take a breather to prepare for the fall, some things we have coming up are:

  • June 20th-25th: VBS with Immanuel Community
  • June 26th: Young Adult BBQ, Parachute in the Park, AND a Welcome Dinner
  • July 16th: Family Pool Day!
  • July 30th: Young Adult Six Flags
  • July 24th-September 4th: Children’s Church Superbook Olympics
Looking back, and what's to come!
