When should I arrive?
It can be helpful to arrive a few minutes early to get a seat and get settled in. Doors open 30 minutes before service.
What should I wear?
Dress in whatever you are most comfortable wearing. Some in our church dress casual and others dress more formally but there is no set expectation.
What will we do?
Our services last about seventy minutes during which time there is singing, prayer, and listening to preaching from the Bible. Our weekend services are a time when our Church family worships God together. Even if you’re unsure what that means we invite you to join us and see what it’s all about!
Can I bring my kids?
Yes! Kids of all ages are welcome. Children’s Church is offered for kids age 4 through 5th grade during our service.
What health precautions are in place?
Following the guidance of IDPH as Illinois moves to phase 5 of its reopening plan we have updated our health precautions as follows:
- At this time we are asking that you wear a face-covering as you enter and exit the building. If you wish you can remove it when you are seated in the sanctuary.
- If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness such as an elevated fever we ask that you stay at home and participate via livestream (live.osefc.org)
- If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive or is suspected to have COVID-19 please remain at home
Additionally, we have adjusted our facility to ensure that physical distance can be maintained and all high-touch surfaces are regularly disinfected.
