By March 2, 2025March 5th, 2025Prayer

The following reading and prayer prompts are meant to serve as a jumping off point as you spend time in prayer today.

Read Titus 1

Pray From Titus 1

  • List promises God makes, thanking him for them (v. 2).
  • Ask for a similar ongoing transformation through the gospel that Paul says elders must display (v. 8).
  • Seek spiritual discernment from the Holy Spirit, through the Bible, with humility (v. 15).

Personal Prayer

  • Confession: Review yesterday. Where did you disregard the fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5:22-23?
  • Repentance: Take that review and bring it to God with heartfelt remorse, desiring to trust the Spirit for growth in grace.
  • Assurance of Pardon: Believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has cleansed you from sin and you no longer bear its condemnation.

Prayer for Our Church

  • Pray that our elders, staff, and other leaders would be unified, wise, and serve with conviction and humility.
  • Pray for new people to feel that there is a place for them in this church family.

Prayer for the World

  • Pray for children born into poor, oppressed, and unsafe conditions.
  • Pray for Bible translation so that more and more people can have a copy of God’s Word in their native language.
